Most problems turn out to be the server rather than the app. These are the ones that come up.
The Home Screen Sections plugin is missing or disabled. See Set up your server. The app is working; it has nothing to draw.
Most sections share the same order value by default, so anything not explicitly ordered gets arranged arbitrarily. Set an explicit order in the plugin settings and they stay put.
192.168.1.20:8096Intro Skipper has not analysed that episode yet, or the episode genuinely has no intro. Many episodes have an outro and no intro. Both are normal.
Your server has not generated trickplay images. Enable the trickplay scheduled task in Jellyfin and let it run — no client can show them until it does.
No Seerr server is configured, or the item is already in your library. Square Eyes will not offer to fetch something you already have.
Each person signs in once with their own Jellyfin account. After that, tap the profile picture at the top of any screen (on iPhone) or the initial on the Home header (on Android phones) and pick who is watching — no password needed. On the TV it is Settings → Switch profile.
On the TV choose Quick Connect; it shows a six-digit code. On your phone open Settings → Sign in a TV and type the code. The TV signs in as you within a few seconds.
Open a film or episode and tap the download arrow, or use Download season on a season. Downloads carry on in the background and play with no connection — the app opens straight to them when you are offline. If a download says it is switched off, your server's administrator has turned off downloading for your account (Dashboard → Users → Allow media downloading).
On a title, tap the TV button. Pick a Chromecast with the Cast icon, or choose a TV that is already running Square Eyes or Jellyfin; your phone becomes the remote. AirPlay is in the player's controls.
Live TV appears under Library once your Jellyfin server has a tuner or IPTV source and a guide set up (Dashboard → Live TV).
Email squareeyes@lashdevs.com with your Jellyfin version, the device, and what you saw.
