Square Eyes is a Jellyfin client for Android TV and Android phones. It reads
the rows your server already builds, so the home screen looks like something you would
choose to browse rather than a folder listing.
What it does
Server-driven home rows. Continue Watching, Because You Watched, genre shelves and Recently Added come from the Home Screen Sections plugin rather than a hardcoded list.
Requesting built in. Where a Seerr server is configured, anyone in the household can browse and request without leaving the app.
Made for a remote. Everything is reachable on a D-pad. Nothing assumes a touchscreen.
One app, both screens. The same install works on the TV and in your pocket.
What it is not
Square Eyes is not a streaming service and has no content of its own. It is a client for
a server you run. Without a Jellyfin server to point it at, it does nothing.
Square Eyes has no backend. There is no Lash Developments account, and
